Just finished this rather large painting last week. It really helped when I added some purple to the mountains and broke up the grass at the edge of the mountain. The Grand Tetons are so rough and jagged and they still have the magnificent colors and amazing skies - I just couldn't resist. This image was taken by my friend Terry Porter. Now I'd like to go paint plain air in the Grand Tetons next summer!
