Great day painting was cut short by obligations.  I do love working in oil but it takes so long.  I think I will be switching back and forth between oil and acrylics for quite a while. 

I am still working on the Amsterdam Virtual Paintout.  I hope I make it in time.  Between working and slow drying time, I'm chomping at the bit and far behind. Working on a portrait of a friend, and began an abstract today that I think will be fun. Also began a close-up of a flower.(a la my friends Grant and Donna) Don't know if mine will turn out as awesome as theirs have but I'm going to give it my best.  

Hopefully, I will have some paintings to put up for display soon or I will go back and show some of my acrylic work.
