Got to the studio early today (10:00) and worked on this painting all day. I am still not pleased enough to say it is ready but it is much farther along. It doesn't have the depth and perspective I wanted to achieve. Maybe I need to "step away from the painting," as my teacher Kathleen says. I don't want to over-paint it. I'll wait until Tuesday evening and get some constructive criticism from my colleagues. Something is "so not right!"

05.22/10 Flowering Fenceline
