Not finished with the details of this painting yet but pleased with the outcome so far. In 2004, when I arrived in Paris, my best friend, Lea, and I went to a cafe called Deux Magots for a bite to eat. This is the cafe where Hemingway and other famous writers met and discussed many issues and drank themselves into a stupor. Well, Lea and I didn't have enough euros to drink ourselves into a stupor but I did photograph the tiny bird who had a hearty fare from our afternoon repast. I want to enter this into the virtual paintout also.
This painting is from the Pont Neuf on the Quai d'(something) I took this in Paris in 2004. I like it .................. will have to sleep on it and have it photographed properly before I submit it to the virtual paintout. I LOVE PARIS!
This is a quickie that I just finished but haven't signed , of my friend Scotty Gotcher and his adorable Frenchie, Maurice. Looks just like the pic I took off of facebook. Hope you like it Scotty!
